Some people tell me that my cousin is gay. I sort of believe but it hurts me to. Should I ask my cousin or what.

Yes, I would ask your cousin. Just say that you have heard that he or she is gay and you was just wondering if it is true. Ask your cousin in a nice way though. I know this kind of thing hurts, but be there for your cousin no matter what. If you truly love your cousin, you will find a way to accept it. Your cousin may tell you the truth but may also lie because of being afraid to admit it if he or she really is. Make sure you tell your cousin that you will love him or her no matter what and will be there for him or her no matter what. I have someone in my family that is gay and it hurt me at first but I never showed it. I just accepted him as he is and I love him just as much as I did before. They are human beings just like us straight people. They have feelings too. I will be thinking about you and hope everything works out for you and your cousin. Just both of you hang in there.

No. Your cousin will tell you if s/he is gay, when and if s/he wants you to know. You might want to ask yourself a question though: why does it matter to me? When you get a handle on your own thoughts and feelings, then you will know how to handle those of your cousin, and it will become clear to you how to approach private and intimate disclosure.
Think of it this way: Which is more difficult among minorities, being gay or being black? Answer: Probably being gay, because you don't have to tell your parents you are black.

I think you could ask. If you love your cusin then they won't mind. You just need to ask in the right way so that you don't hurt their feeling. Start by saying people around me keep suggesting that you are gay. This upsets me so I have decided to come to you. I want you to know that I care about you either way. Then see what your response it.

Why not, and just say you are asking since others have been asking you. Be there for them and let them know they are still your cousin no matter what they decide :)

don't believe others, believe yourself. He's your cousin, not theirs. Everyone acts a certain way others don't see when you have a special bond with someone.
