Jesus said that it's better to avoid sex. He did. If we love him we should try to follow him. But--weak Christians can marry--because it is better
to burn in hell of passion to marry. But won't you suffer for Christ's sake and resist these evil temptation. Please, if you are single and celibate--avoid masturbation. Repression is sometimes like prayer.
It's self-suffering for the sake of your love for Christ Jesus. He died for you in Cross. You should repay him back.Even if guys are apparently "just using it as a form to release stress". I'm sorry, but God has provided many other ways to relieve stress other then pleasuring yourself sexually. And that's the thing, if you are touching your genitals, you are doing something sexual! And God has made it clear, that REAL purity is not just keeping from sex before marriage, but it is keeping away from anything that is sexually gratifying. The ONLY sexual activity that is alright in God's eyes is for a couple only in marriage. The truth about it is that we dont have the RIGHT to think about sex/watch shows of people having sex/listen to people talking about sex, anything that has to do with sex!!! We dont have that right because we are not married! The only kind of sex that is okay in God's eyes is sex in the marriage bed.

Monastery Life
A young monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to helping the other monks in copying the old canons and laws of the church by hand.
He notices, however, that all of the monks are copying from copies, not from the original manuscript. So, the new monk goes to the head abbot to question this, pointing out that if someone made even a small error in the first copy, it would never be picked up! In fact, that error would be continued in all of the subsequent copies.
The head monk, says, "We have been copying from the copies for centuries, but you make a good point, my son."
He goes down into the dark caves underneath the monastery
where the original manuscripts are held as archives in a locked
vault that hasn't been opened for hundreds of years. Hours go
by and nobody sees the old abbot.
So, the young monk gets worried and goes down to look for him. He sees him banging his head against the wall and wailing,
"We missed the "R" ! , we missed the "R" !"
His forehead is all bloody and bruised and he is crying
uncontrollably. The young monk asks the old abbot, "What's wrong, father?"
With A choking voice, the old abbot replies, "The word was...
CELEBRATE!!!"
HAHAHA I had to put this up.......

Ahem. I have to take issue with this. Firstly, you completely misquoted Paul. He said it is better to marry than to burn with passion. You said it is better to burn than marry. I completely agree with the fact that we are told to abstain from sexuality until such time as we are married. However, this is not the right way to say it. And God does not intend for us to suffer just to be martyrs. If you are celibate just to suffer, that's not what Christ has for you.
Our sexuality is not sin! God gave it to us, and yes, only for the marriage bed. But God gave Adam the woman to support Him, because it was not good that man be alone. So the woman was made for the man, and God approves of them glorifying God in their sexuality. Read Song of Solomon; you can hear the tenderness of Solomon for his bride...makes me wish I was married.

First, I am a Christian. I believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. You are a new Christian, aren't you, trying to keep it together, and I admire your enthusiasm but it is a life change, and you are going to burn yourself out trying to keep everything pure and pristine. Slow down Christ is patient, kind, loving.
But your questions and statements puzzle me. Do you belong to one faith or grab things from all over. You are very law oriented. Christ died and freed us from the law. We dont' have to earn his love. One cannot keep the law, it is impossible, which is why we needed a savior. You are going to make yourself nuts with your law keeping.

I am Muslim, but I agree with you. Wait until marriage. I did and it was worth it. My husband wasn't a virgin but it was because he was married before and his wife died. But he still never did anything outside of marriage.

Guess what, I don't believe that it's a sin, and I don't believe that I have to be married to enjoy it, and I don't believe in Christian dogma.
