I know we are not supposed to hold people up...but only to look to the Lord our God as a standard. But I must say...in the decade that I've been attending my church, I have seen this man, who is in his later years, be there week after week after week, faithfully and tirelessly proclaiming the word of God.
Even when he takes a short vacation, he usually runs back from the airport to be at church that day. He is a brilliant bible teacher, and he teaches right from the bible, never allowing God's word to be compromised, no matter what the culture of the day may be throwing at bible-believing churches.
I feel privileged and fortunate to sit under teaching of this calibre.

I do not trust ministers since the one I was married to molested his own sons and the children in his church. I am grateful that I got away from him and that because he made me suspect of all preachers, I have learned to go STRAIGHT TO THE SOURCE OF ALL GOOD...my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, the Way, the Truth and the Life!

Yes I most certainly do. If I didn't he would not be my minister, but I am blessed to have a real man of God as my pastor.

Pastors/Ministers/Reverends sin like all of us. They aren't Super Heroes.
I trust him to try, and when he makes a mistake to repent and try again.

NO. Not since a local Pentecostal pastor was seen leaving a gay bar with a hustler, and when it was proved that he abused young men in his church (and I mean ... IN the church, that's where it happened, in his office), and then his co-pastor came to his rescue and tried to prove that the young men were demon possessed. Talk about an elaborate scam.

I really don't trust anyone who receives money in their pocket for spreading the word of God. Anything that pertains to the knowledge should be given free of charge.

Certainly, my pastor is my best friend for all my life nealy. She has been like a mother to me, taking me in under her wing. I recently lived with she and her husband for 6 months and I am truly grateful for them opening up their home and hearts. So yes, I trust her 100%.
