How far you hit it once doesn't really matter. It's how far you hit it consistently. A good player will hit a 3 wood 235-250 yards on average. It's also important how straight you hit it consistently. To be a good player, learn all aspects of the game, especially 100 yards from the hole and closer. That's where most of the scoring takes place. And don't get in the habit of bragging how far you hit it. That just makes you look and sound like an idiot. Good luck learning a great game!!

That is EXCELLENT! Good job.
A 3 wood is the 2nd largest club in the whole set. Very large for a nine year old. 250 yds is good for an adult even!

you might as well quit the game if you only hit it 250...
just kidding.. hitting it that far once is great.. i hit mine 300 once.. but once doesnt get you in the pros..
try and hit consistant.. some where in the fairway.. and you will be fine..
