when ever i look at him he stares stright in my eyes and smiles at me. Also i can see him look at me at times. Also we are in eigth grade. And this one time he brushed his shoulder againist mine and was so close to my face that it looked like we were about to kiss, but he looked at me and smiled.
Does he sound interested or is he being friendly?
If you can tell me ways in which he would show me he liked me how would he act around me .
If you can, please give me a detailed answer.

But you should play it down a little bit. Befriend him. Talk to him on a regular bases. Find a common interest, ask him about himself {Most guys love to talk about themselves}, tap his shoulder one day in class and ask if you can borrow a pencil even if it means hiding the twenty you already have in your binder. After a couple of days if things go ok start mildly and subtly flirting. Gradually increase how much you flirt and see if he gets the message. If he does then he might start flirting back if he feels the same way and will probably ask you out before too long. I recommend that you don't tell anyone about your crush just in case he finds out from someone else and gets scared or turned off.
Be super friendly and understanding, avoid drama, yet act a little girly to remind him that your not just one of the guys. Don't get mad at him every two seconds because you think it's cute, because it's really quite annoying and it's a big turn off to most any guy.
When you do your hair and makeup in the mornings think of him so that way you know your doing your best and looking your best. Wear flattering clothes too, because as much as people deny it looks do matter. Most of all tell yourself that you are pretty because you need to feel pretty to have confidence and fun when your around him.

I really dont know how to explain this to you. I mean Im a junior in high school, n Im very experienced, but 8th graders do take things seriously, but sometimes they want to prove things to their friends , he might just be hurting u. but i dont kno i could be wrong, i dont know what type of guy he is, where he comes from or anything like that, so i cant really judge. ill just answer ur q's. Well if I were u n there was a guy like that I would definitely think he likes me, I mean he stares at u n smiles. And it seems to me as if u's flurt. I really dnt know how to tell if a guy likes u specially at ur age since guys r so confusing and undetermined. Like y dnt u flurt w/ him some more. Like get all close to him, n talk to him, play w/ hjis shirt or collar or his arms...lol idk. n smile a lot. And see wut he does. he's definetly showing some obvious signs about it, but one thing i will mention: give it some time to grow! become friends first. then try to move it to the next step. you are one lucky girl!
There is also another side to the story: the player. Do you think he shows the same attention to other girls? If he does, it's a bad sign! He might be just friendly to you, or he might possibly be dangerous. it's just a possiblity.
but if he only shows interest in YOU, then you go, girl!!!

You can tell a boy is interested in you when he glances at you then smiles, talks to you and acts like he is interested. If a guy does not like you he will let you know he will treat you like your invisible. Remember at this age their a little shy so maybe say hi to him, ask him how he is doing small steps and see if he give you a positive response.

Sounds like he is attracted to you. When you catch him looking at you then with a smile I would say he likes you very much. I would strike up a conversation with him, you will know more then . You could invite him to have a soda with you if all goes well and take it from there. Good luck honey.

Smile and looking in eyes is very good symptom to begin.

he likes you. i would go into more detail about why but thats all thats really important now isnt it???? good luck! i would say that you should wait for him to jus tell you that he like you but he probably wont, guys have a thing about protecting their egos. So if you like the guy back start flirting and getting to know him then just tell him how you feel.

He likes you. If he looks at you and smiles, he likes you. Friendly guys don't look at you and smile for no reason. Eight grade guys do that if they like you ( I would know I was in 8th grade last year lol)
