That question is merely a gross generalization, which makes it hard to answer for some. Sure there are answers that Christians do NOT support abortion, but that's as much a false statement as the first. Christianity is more varied in its beliefs than any other religion in the world. There are so many factions (denominations) that it's impossible to find something they all agree on besides the fact that one must believe in Jesus Christ and accept him as Savior to be Christian.
Moving on from that, some Christians are entirely against it, and some are okay with it. It's a personal belief that doesn't have a solid answer across the board. If you listen to the Pope and the Catholic Church, it's entirely wrong. They usually only support abortion if the pregnancy endangers the mother, and a few people throw in the scenario of rape, believing that women should not have to bear the child of their rapist.
Some Christians support abortion in general, but I have not met any that agree with the procedure after the first two trimesters. This is because the main organs have been formed and the entire nervous system starts functioning at the beginning of the third trimester, so the fetus cannot feel before that point.
I can give some reasons why people in general may support abortion, but all of them I can list may not apply directly to any given Christian you may encounter, so I'm sure it's helpful anyway. Just remember, people are different in their beliefs and some may be in a denomination that's more relaxed or they may have had a personal encounter with a situation involving abortion. Don't assume, but be willing to talk to all people about it.

I'm a Christian and I do not support abortion. It's preached against in my church. If there are individual Christians who support abortion or believe it's a woman's choice that opinion is on them, not Christians as a group.

Some Christians support the right to abortion. Others support the lack of that right. Who is more a Christian? Thou shalt not judge.

Christians who support abortion are not focused on what they should be. They have an eye on themselves. When someone has an "unwanted" pregnancy... they see it as the mom's life or the baby's. that's not the truth. they also think that unwanted pregnancies equal unwanted children, which is way wrong as well. their are waiting lists of people who want newborns!
I think that christians who support abortions have never seen one, and if they did, they wouldn't support it.

If one is truly a Christian and knows what the bible says, then they would not support abortion. It is so wrong in Gods eyes.

Christians don't support abortion. That is why they protest outside abortion clinics all the time.

Some people will find any way to justify it. I personally am a Christian and equate abortion with murder. I know a Christian woman who is not opposed to abortion in certain cases, such as if they know that the child will be severely handicapped. I just can't accept that, though. Children are innocent and they deserve to be protected.

You've been misinformed. Christians do not support abortions. However, that does not make abortions "right" or "wrong."

Nobody supports abortion really. It is just another source or revenue to discontinue unwanted pregnancy by people who have no other choices.
Still I am not saying it is a good think to do.
