I've been hurt by a couple of past relationships and it made me forget how to be affectionate towards girls. How do you show a girl affection (but without coming off as needy)?

well I am a girl and 4 u 2 show affection to a girl or others u need 2 trust in ursef and believe. Be vigilant and if u like a girl u need to love her first then she will love u back because she knows that u will show her affection. The affection will come when having sex. If u keep thinking like that just because of what u are going through I can understand but put the pass behind u.

Most women do not like needy or weak minded men. Be assertive, women like that. If she likes you tell he how you feel, not too much at once though. Little bits of info about how you feel. Don't tell a girl on the first date about how you have been heartbroken in the past. We don't want to know that you were in love with a few other girls. Cuddle in appropriate areas, home, movies, parks. Don't over do it though. Don't try to be with your girl 24-7 let her breath and have soem time to miss you. I broke it off with a guy because of that reason. Hope these tips will help you. Be strong, and know where you are going on a date, do not say well whatever you want to do. We gals have enough to do, and we'd rather have our guy wine and dine us, sort of like prince charming, I know thats a stupid way to describe it, but this is another thing my ex lacked. Always making me decide what to do where to go, I hate that. Once in awhile is fine, not always.

By looking at your previous posts, I would venture to suggest that showing affection is not actually the problem. The problem is that you come off as needy. You need to rein in your natural inclination to be all over these girls and take it slowly. Any little affection that seeps through your guard will be plenty.

you never forget how to be affectionate! it comes natural and especially if there is a real attraction. you sound so sweet. just be yourself and treat a girl with respect. the rest follows. good luck .

Do something for her that she likes-rub her feet or shoulders, cuddle up on the couch or hold her hand. It's the simple things that mean so much.

Give her your undivided attention (this can be tough). Make her feel like she reaches you. Put sexual thoughts on hold. Holding hands & eye contact...and don't be cheap.
