Yes, plenty.
The problem is one of repartition. Lots of food here, and not enough there.
Those people that are presently starving were not starving before (or else that population would have been wiped off already), so somethng happened locally to prevent food from being produced or distributed. Most of the time, it is a war, rather than inclement weather like flooding or drought.

No-why in many places there is starvation and with global warming here and now a reality its only going to get worse. We could grow enough if we are all responsible for the planet-used our natural resources wisely but we know that isn't happening. Its been proven that land space used to grow grains, vegetables and so on is less and keeps the land healthier than the land required to keep food animals which gets polluted from the waste of the animals-doesn't mean all have to veg's but be more wise in the use of the land. Oceans are being depleted-over fished and parts of the ocean, seashores are being found to be dead spaces-fish and sea animals died and dying due to warming of the water-depletes oxygen but jellyfish etc are increasing. Doesn't look like a rosy future but is reality.

yes, because if we don't then people die until the equation balances again. conversly population grows when there is more food, until there is just enough again.
If you are asking is the food distributed equitably, then no it isn't; money rich/powerful countries and the global trade system waste vast amounts of food. also global trade stops people growing food locally to focus on cash crops.
secondly unacountable politics/war creates poor distribution and famines, eg Irish potatoe famine. India has not suffered major starvation since independence.

Yes, we do. Even India has enough grain, but because they regard rats as possible former family members they refuse to do anything about the rat problem. No joke.

Personally, I don't think so, we wouldn't be having all these problems with starvation in these third world countries.
