I went out on a date with a bigger girl..she ended up eating more at the buffet than I did...so should she pay the bill? I paid last night, but I will see her tonight, should I ask her for meal money?

The girl should take responsibility for her eating habits. It is not good for her health because she already has a lot of weight. Neither you nor she can afford to pay so much money for dining out. Unfortunately, you would not want to offend her. The good news is that men no longer have to pay for all the expenses every time they date a woman. Women earn more money today than in the past. Do no be afraid to agree with her ahead of time on financial matters. Let her know how much you are willing to pay for her. Isn't she obligated to contribute financially as well?

First off, would you be asking this question if the girl had been skinny? Second, the more you eat at a buffet, the more you are going to get your money's worth. Third, I think if the guy wants to present himself as a gentleman, he should always offer to pay. If she takes the bill from you and demands to pay it, let her, otherwise, be the bigger person. Sorry, had to throw that in. LOL

I don't mean to be harsh, but your the man of the relationship so you need to take control. You should tell your girlfriend at the begining of the date that you don't want the bill to be too high so you guys need to be caareful on how much you order. This tells your girlfriend in a respectful way that she needs to order less. If this doesn't work you need to tell your girlfriend that she should order less that way she won't get tired the rest of the time you guys aer out. This might be a little lie, but again, it will tell your girlfriend that she should order less without hurting her feelings.

No, oh my gosh, what happened to MANNERS and being a gentleman? Were you really thinking about walking up to her and demanding money for last night's dinner?

Did you ask her out, or did she ask you? The way I see it, whoever asked pays; that, or you split it. It's not determined by who eats more.

It was a buffet, dufus. One price no matter how much you eat. Someone needs to clue her in that you are a scarecrow (if I only had a brain.........)
