Why on earth are you asking this in the "grade-schooler" category? As for your question, there is no way to know except that you just trust her. All those old wives' tales about how to tell if a woman has had sex are hogwash... including "blood on the sheets."

I didn't bleed at all the first time I had sex. NOT EVERYONE BLEEDS!! It also didn't really hurt much. I am so sick of people believing these lies. My ex-fiance happened to be someone who was an @ss about it too. He didn't believe that I was a virgin because I didn't bleed. Please don't be an idiot like him...

She is you WIFE....just ask her. I hardly think you should be marrying a woman whom you can't/won't and haven't already discussed this with. If your issue is that you feel you need some type of evidence or proof that she is telling the truth, then you certainly should not be getting married. If you can't trust her to be honest with you that is no marriage worthy relationship. Furthermore, if you are distrusting of her because you have issues as opposed to because she has proven less than honest in the past, then you need to get over your issues before you ask a person you are supposed to love to commit themselves to you. All in all...no matter what the reason for asking this question....the fact that you asked is a big red flag that you should not be getting into this marriage.

You can't know for sure. Some virgins bleed the first time they have sex, some don't. Some virgins have a fragile hymen that breaks during sex, some virgins were born with very little hymen, some tore the hymen earlier in life doing non-sexual things.

Some women have very sturdy hymens that bend out of the way but don't tear at all, so just having a hymen doesn't mean virginity either.

You cannot always tell if a woman is a virgin. Traditionally, a virgin has a piece of skin, called a hymen, covering part of the vaginal opening when she is a virgin. However, there are many things besides sexual intercourse (like horseback riding and physical exercise) that can stretch or break the hymen. If you are going to marry someone, you must trust her, and her word about being a virgin.

there really isn't any physical evidence of that, some older cultures think that if the hymen is still in tact then she's a virgin, but that is not the case, anything can break the hymen from a tampon to trauma to the vagina like a kick or a fall

Why don't you already know this? Getting married and having a question like this doesn't say much for where this marriage is headed.

Well you should know if you have already slept with her. More importantly you should have delt with this prior to marriage. Don't be such a harpie. It's in the past, you have her future as long as you don't lag on to the past. Enjoy your marriage to its fullest in the now.

I think that you should ask her before then and trust her to tell you the truth. If you don't already know a fact like this, why are you getting married? It seems like you should be dating for a little while longer first.

Um...there are a number of ways to tell...the most important one is that her hymen breaks! I know there are other ways, but I can't recall them. Otherwise, you could get her to go to the gynocologist and get a test...then you would know for sure whether she is or not. But, why wouldn't you trust your soon to be wife?

What are your reasons for wanting to know?

How would she find out if you are a virgin?

Does it matter?
