Yes. There is a regular that comes to the coffee shop I work at. He had it removed and lived, but he has short term memory problems.

my ex husband actually had one for approx 15 years - about 5 yeasrs ago he had to have an MRI and CATT scan done due to back problems - after running the scans (full body due to his tumor - they discovered that his body had actually disolved the tumor....instead of a tissue mass inside his brain he now had a liquid mass inside his brain... while that sounds still just as terrible.. his headaches had actually been diminishing over the years... they had gone from severe debilitating migrains to mere anoyances easily treated w/ tylenol (or similar) ...
benign brain tumors can easily be survived - just need to discus w/ the dr the appropriate treatment for any resulting pain...

Yes, my aunt survived one and is still going strong. The tumor is still there but they keep it in check with meds.

Yes...well kind of.
My boyfriend had some of his tumour removed and is currently on a break from his chemo. He'll start again in 3 weeks.
He's doing pretty well.
