For us, it's about 60% of the time that my wife climaxes. And with the recent survey about how women's sex drive declines in stable relationships, I may just be the luckiest guy in the world because when my wife doesn't need a climax, we still have sex. What a gal... but that's not what you're asking.

When she gets that look in her eyes and says it's time for her to have some fun, our climaxes overlap about 60% of the time, as I said, but that's because when she asks for it, I make sure she gets it -- 30 to 40 minutes of foreplay, until she basically says she can't stand it any longer. If you only count the actual time we're having intercourse, it can take as long as 3 or 4 minutes for her to reach climax, or it can start after as little as 30 seconds -- because she's had half an hour of prep. (I call this the Chinese cooking technique -- it's all in the prep work, and the actual cooking is hot, fast and dramatic. :-) And in some cases, with enough foreplay, she has had orgasms that lasted longer than the intercourse it took to get her there.

Given this tried-and-true method for making her climax, she finishes before me about 30% of the time -- usually because I can't resist giving her one more kiss or a few more squeezes before I jump her bones, and that's when she starts clamping down on me after 30 seconds. I like that. Depending on how far along I am, we will either continue (if I'm less than a minute away), change positions (if she's at risk for going numb with too much stimulation on the same spot after her climax), or in rare cases, take a break, let her catch her breath, and then I'll lie back and she'll, ah, show me her appreciation, and let me know she's glad I didn't Blow the Job... if you get my drift.

About 10% of the time, in spite of all the warmup and everything, I still finish before she does. If it's only by a few seconds, I just keep going -- I know from experience that I have about a minute after ejaculation during which I'm still hard enough to crack an egg, and if she's only 30 seconds away from finishing, it really doesn't matter if I've added to the lubrication.

If it's more than about a minute ... she USED to turn me over and climb on top till she was done. However, she injured her knee some years ago and, between that and some other health issues (being middle-aged isn't all AARP discounts and looking distinguished, let me tell you), being on top doesn't really work for her any more. So at times like this, I'll lie down beside her, kiss and fondle her nipples, and stimulate her by hand until she clenches down on my fingers and her whole body goes all rigid.

I *love* that. I wish she needed it more often, but as I say, I'm the luckiest guy in the world because even when she's not in the mood for that, she does things that I like. (Ask about male multiple orgasms some time...)

In my experience, it happens rarely. And, it is overrated in my opinion. I'd rather watch her orgasm. I'd miss it if did it at the same time.
