He died for your sins, the others did not... He rose from the dead to prove He was God... the others did not. If you want to believe that's brainwashed babble, then thats on you.

Better as what? A prophet? He was the only one that claimed to be the one and only God. Moses, Mohammed, Krishna & Buddha all claimed to be prophets of their gods. Zeus was a part of Greek mythology & has never been proved to actually have existed, Yin & Yang is an ancient Chinese concept, the sun is a star....

Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by over 500 witnesses. If you think that's "brainwashed babble" then consider this. A Muslim extremist will kill himself if he believes that it is a one way ticket to Heaven but there's no way that he will do it if he knows that it's just a story for the ignorant.
If you read Fox's Book of Martyrs you'll see how many of the people who knew Jesus when He was alive and who said they saw Him after He was raised from the dead gave their lives in horrible ways rather than deny the faith. All some of them would have had to do was to say that Caesar was King and that Jesus was dead and gone and they could have been accepted back into society and lived a long life.
But these eyewitnesses to Jesus life, death and resurrection refused to take the easy way out and paid a painful price instead. All of the people you mentioned other than Jesus died and were buried and never seen again. Only Jesus, the miracle working Son of the living God of Heaven rose from the dead and ascended back up to Heaven in front of many witnesses who were willing to die rather than deny the truth of what they had seen.

Jesus is not better that Buddha or Krishna. This is my view, because he did not teach what the other two have taught and the other tow taught what he had taught.
Unless, Jesus knows that the most humans of our times are not able to understand complex teachings. And for those few who could, there remains the Buddha and Krishna's teaching. So actually, Jesus could be here to served a purpose for most dull capacity minds.
Just like, you cannot teach elementary students the university subjects.

I like Buddha the best out of the choices, so I can't answer your question.
Your next question should be "Why was Jesus better than Bar Kokhba and all of the other messiahs of the time?"
As for "he died and rose from the dead and forgives sins" those gods are a dime a dozen. Check out Wesir/Osiris, Dionysus, Mithras, Gilgamesh, and so on, and so forth! Jesus was not the first god to do this, nor be born from a virgin either!

I think the whole point is he really isn't better. It is all about faith, and where people are coming from. Some people need the whole salvation experience so for them Jesus is better. But, some of us do not want or need to be saved so our view point would be much different. We could apply this to each person/being listed here. Spirituality is based on faith, and each of us is different so our faith will be in different things. So, my answer is there isn't any proof and there isn't any reason that Jesus would be better than Krishna ,etc. They are all just archetypes of faith, of mankind trying to understand "God".

Jesus is God within the Trinity.
Jesus works in perfect harmony with the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus' crucifixion is the pivotal point of all of time. Satan rejected Jesus and thus was banished from heaven. Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
Some of the others like Moses were prophets who said Jesus would come and be the Messiah. Buddha is wise, but he is not God. Dunno much about Mohamed, but I do know that they do not say that he is god. Jesus is our Lord who died on a cross to wash away sin and save us by bringing us to God; who we could get to ‘cas of sin.

Jesus is the only way to Heaven... Moses was a prophet of God and he spoke of Christs' coming. Mohammed had a lot of good ideas. Krishna and Buddha were very positive thinkers. But none of them can save you from hell or wash away your sins except Jesus...

Once again, you atheists (I assuming you are by your comment "brainwashed babble") use name calling. Could be you're the brainwashed one.
Oh, none of those you named died for me or anyone else.
Also, noone can answer your questions, YOU have to seek the Truth. But, with your attitude, you won't find it because I've discovered that those who refuse God don't listen, period.

No one is saying Jesus is better, God's Word doesn't say that. God's Word speaks the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and the only way to have a personal relationship with God. All of the other religions you are trying to work your way to God. God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ is a free gift. God's Word is not brainwashing.
