She called me that it just occured. I have a feeling that there is room for me. I still have my doubts as to whether to go for it or not. Note: she thinks I have a girlfriend but I really don't I feel like she's want to date me now bcos she just broke the old relationship. I am in a limbo here. please advice me, well meaning yahoo folks. Thanks.

She wants you as a rebound.

No do not go out with this girl. She is still grieving over the loss of her old relationship. She is feeling alone right now and she wants someone to keep her company. There is a huge difference between wanting company and wanting to start a serious relationship but honestly most girls get these two things confused! You will get hurt. I can see it because you care for this girl on a level she is not yet at. You need to give her time to get over the end of her relationship and then pursue her. Doing that would be in your best interest.

Go for it, especially if she called you and told you she just broke up. She's probably giving you the hint to ask her out. If she really isn't giving you a hint, you won't know unless you ask her. Whats the real harm in asking her anyway? Loosing her friendship? If you don't ask her and she goes out with a guy she later wants to marry, you'll be loosing much of your friendship to her anyways because she'll be spending all her time with her new guy. So you might as well see if you can be her new guy first. It might lead to some hot and meaningful times that you don't want to miss. Or maybe not, but you won't know unless you do it.

Hope that helps.

Fortune favors the bold. Sitting around being timid will get you no where. Either go for it or quit thinking about her. But sitting in limbo will not get anything done.

Usually a girl tells a guy she broke up a relationship either
a) She like you, therefore ask her out
b) she thinks you are a friend, therefore ask her out to "console her sorrows, and be the hot caring friend.

You guys play too many mind games. Make up your minds, get rid of the drama and it'll be smooth sailing.

No harm in going for a drink, but don't let her play you around. Keep it cool and slightly distant.
