Yesterday during our conversation my girlfriend said to me that the thing she most likes about me is that I am sweet and humble! What does it mean when a girl says this? Is it a good thing?

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Yes, this is definitely a compliment. It means that you are kind and caring (sweet) and the humble part is very much a compliment. A lot of men are cocky and full of themselves. She doesn't think you are full of yourself... and that is definitely a compliment :)

A compliment indeed!

It's easy to be sweet to someone whom you're fond of, but being humble (that is, possessing humility, modesty) is a gift. You are clearly a catch since you possess both! Everyone should strive to carry these 2 virtues, but it's not easy.

See, many guys and girls often feel insecure, so they think it's necessary to brag and show off--whether it's about their appearance, their accomplishments, etc.

I once dated a guy who NEVER even told me he was the valedictorian of his graduating high school class. I had to hear it from his mother years after we were dating. That's humble.

I married that guy, and we've been living happily ever after. :-)

I think that is a good thing. You don't brag about yourself, like some men can do (my neighbor included) and you are sweet, which is also a good thing. Most women while they end up dating someone wild and reckless end up marrying the sweet guys.

yes, being sweet is always a good thing and not being an arrogant jerk is an even better thing. Take the compliments and go on with your life

sweet and humble are indeed good traits....sweet because your gf sees you as cute, you treated her well, and you're talking and doing little things to her delight....humble...because she sees you as a man who never brag about what you got....

Sweet means you are nice and you don't treat her like crap and humble means that you aren't cocky, you aren't full of yourself.

What do you think? If she says you're an idiot and sour, then it's NOT a good thing. Take it from there.
