Just a thought, you know,if there is no after life then pretty much that's about what it boils down to.(oops sorry)Temporarily Animated Meat.Heck the more I say it the more possible I think it is. Any suggestions? Don't bother telling me I am sick, I all ready know it's a disturbing image.

In a way you are right, we are animated. the question is, what animates us? I say that it is our soul that animates us. If we take the soul out of a person, we would just lie there vegetating without consciousness, not a human being as we know it.
We are different than animals. At a very young age, we start asking questions...we search for Truth.
Animals, when they are very young, don't do much but take care of their needs of food, water and shelter.
That which animates us, will go on to live forever, the soul is not destructible, the body is.The soul is eternal.
The CCC (Catechism of the Catholic Church) counters that if there is a human body, a spiritual soul animates it. To re-word the CCC: If it is not animated by a human soul, it is not a human body.
Temporarily animated? Yes, for at death, the soul which animates the body leaves it, and goes on into eternity.

Yes, that is what I always thought we were. Meat puppets. No, I am serious. That is what our bodies are, meat. Our souls are something else but we don't usually think of ourselves as souls.
