Chocolate Egg Nog §@¿@§
Serves 8

2 Cups 1% Milk ''skim''
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1/2 Cup Sugar Substitute (recommended: Splenda)
2 Eggs, beaten
2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
2 Cups 1% Milk ''skim'', chilled
1/8 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/3 Cup Hershey's Baking Cocoa

Instructions:
Mix 2 cups milk, cornstarch, and sugar in a small saucepan; heat to boiling; boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Beat eggs in medium bowl. Mix about half the milk mixture into the eggs; then add this egg mixture to remaining milk in saucepan.

Cook, over low heat, until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and cocoa. Cool to room temperature; refrigerate until chilled, or until serving time.

Stir 2 cups chilled milk into the custard mixture; serve in small glasses or punch cups. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.

HEAVENLY HASH CAKE:
1 (12oz.) pkg. chocolate semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 eggs (separate)
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pint whipping cream
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped (I use walnuts)
1 Angel Food Cake
Melt chocolate chips. In a small bowl, beat egg yolks and add to chocolate. Stir. Beat egg whites; gradually adding sugar until peaks form. Fold whites into chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts, vanilla and salt. Whip the cream and fold in last. Break cake into chunks and cover bottom of tube pan or deep bowl. Cover with a layer of chocolate mixture. Add another layer of cake pieces and cover with remaining chocolate mixture. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
