Okay, I'm an athiest as well, but Jesus the person did, acording to historical fact, exsist. The imaginary part is when people call him a god.

Imaginary friends are believed in only by children. Millions of rational, thinking adults believe in Jesus, and see how he has worked in their lives.
Let me let you in on a little secret that many atheists don't know...
Some of us Christians are actually pretty intelligent! Earthshattering, huh?

Hah, Jesus was real. I'm not a Christian, but there is proof of his existance. But as far as his "miracles", that's where he would tie in with an imaginary friend, I guess.

The difference is Jesus is real. Jesus is alive. Jesus died for you and me. Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Imagine that!
