Cream together (I call this the butter mix.)
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 large egg
1/2 c white sugar
1-1/2 c brown sugar
1 tbls. vanilla

Combine and gradually add to the "butter mix" the following "dry mix"
3 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Stir in 1 c. choc. chips (or "Stir-in Mix")

With a small soup spoon (although a small ice cream scoop is preferable), drop onto shine cooking sheet. 3 rows of 5 spaced apart.

Bake at 350 for about 13-14 minutes.
