This guy i been known for like weeks that claims he really like me but he always tex's me instead of calling me?? why??

Because text are easier to deal with. you can think about what you want to say and send it whenever you want. When you're on the phone, any pause will make either of you think "awkward".... and texts are always better for flirting...

I have the same situation. I just figured it out yesterday. Texting is sometimes better than an actual call. I mean, seriously, are you just gonna expect someone to call and say "Hi, I'm at L.A." or "Blue Punch Buggy" That's what I do. And that's what he does. It works. Besides, we call each other anyway.

maybe he is hiding something. also does he only text you during the week or also on weekends. tell him you can not get any more text messages this month, u are over your quote and see if he calls you. also see if he sounds weird on the phone.
he might be hiding another relationship from u

he might just be nervous and has not really plucked up the courage to call u yet cos he might be afraid that u will reject him if he asks u out and he might not know how to handle that on the phone...give him time and be more open to him so that he can slowly get over this fear of his
