can a 15yr old lose weight if she doesn't eat for a week or so ?
Not that anyone will try this is just to know about.

Yes, you will lose weight and it won't kill you. I've done it a couple of times. It is a little dangerous. You will lose 3 to 5 pounds right off the bat because you deplete your glycogen stores. You will get these right back when you start eating again because it is mostly water.

You can go for a long time without food. Especially if you take vitamins and minerals. You cannot live very long without water, though.

You may be so weak, you can't do anything if you don't eat for a week. That's not very smart to do that.

If you want to lose weight, just stop eating fast food and high carb foods, drinking sodas and replace that with water and fruits, veggies and proteins. And if you start exercising ... even just walking ... you'll start to build muscle. And remember, muscle weighs more than fat. So, if you don't lose that much weight, don't worry. Go by the way your clothes fit and not by what the scales say.

Yeah most people lose weigh when they die... Its worse to not eat for a day than to eat. If you want to lose weight, sarving urself will not work at all. As soon as u eat again u will pack on the kilos.. Eat small amounts of food every few hrs and u will lose weight.
Cereal and fruit for breakfast..
salad sandwich or smiliar for lunch
Red meat of fish for dinner..
Healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, etc etc between and drink HEAPS of water ALL DAY. You will need to pee a lot but within a week ur bladder gets use to it..

How do i know?? I did it.. Lost 30 kilos in 8 months..

You can, but you can make yourself very unhealthy if you go too long, and you'll most likely gain it right back. It's very hard to stay on an extreme diet.

I ate less than 500 calories for a week (and exercised lightly) and lost 8 pounds, but gained it all right back when I lost my self-control and binged.

eThe fist thing to leave your body will be fluid, the fat is the last to go, it's natures way of protecting your body. I went 3 weeks with out food through stress, It will give you diarrhoea, not a good idea at all.The weight loss will only be temporary.

Yes, period. We need 1300-500 calories a day to live healthiliy, so you will lose vitamins, etc, but also will srtart to burn fat in your body. Unheaklthy way to do it. Better a 1000 calorie day.
