These pull-ups claim to feel cold when your little one wets them, aiding in their desire to get them changed.

As my son is currently a bit stubborn about his potty training (ahem) I tried them out-no go. I asked him in the midst of changing a rather wet diaper if he had felt anything different, even the slighest thing, and he looked at me as if I had lost my mind. Just wondering if anyone else had tried them, and if they had worked.
Or as I am now guessing, just another inventive way to get us to try something new, new, new.

Back to the drawing board...paitence, paitence, paitence!

Although it's kind to offer advice about P. Training, it's okay, I think I will just have to ride it out, which I am prepared to do.

Oh, the lining stuff, whatever is, coming off-uggh. Happens to us too. He takes better to the fading designs as well-AND also loves to be naked....3 year olds....heh.

We tried them and my son didn't even notice. Like a lot of other parents, we just gave up on the Pull-ups and use them only for bedtime and long car-rides. Letting him run around naked or in just his undies (cuts out some laundry) has worked the best. My son is three and a half and is at the end. Just try to remember, your son will not be wearing a diaper to high school, he will get it, even if you don't do anything.
Good luck, I'm with ya sister.

Those don't work.
None of them really do --- the disappearing shapes, wetness liners, or the cool linings....they just cost a lot! ...Diapers these days pull the wetness away from their bottoms so they don’t notice the it...thats not good when trying to potty train.

We are at the end of potty training our daughter, she just turned 3 in June. She only wears pull-ups to bed or if we are on a long car outing......We haven't had a wet diaper in about 1 ½ weeks and are thinking of stopping them all together...
What finally worked for us was that I stopped using diapers / pull-ups unless it was bed time or if we went to a store and put those padded underwear on her. If she had an accident she was more prone to notice it and tell someone. I know it sucks cleaning the carpet, puddles in the kitchen and washing underwear and pants several times everyday, but in the end using underwear is a faster process (for us). We started potty training when she was 26 months with pull-ups and had no real progress until 3 months ago when I decided that we needed a new approach...so only using underwear is what we did and its worked. Also, it helped to ask if she needed to go potty every time the thought entered my mind (I got really tired of hearing that sentence coming out of my mouth, and I think my husband did too!). If she hadn't gone in an hour or two then I'd just take her anyway and say lets try, maybe we'll get lucky.
Good luck...hope this helps!!!!!

Skip pull-ups, use underwear. They have no reason to stop unless they are uncomfortable. I potty trained two two year olds, one boy one girl, naked. When they feel the mess and have to help clean it up, it seems to open their little eyes. They were both trained this way. The girl only took 8 days and three accidents. The boy...well they take a little longer. He took about 2 1/2 weeks, and several accidents. But I LOVE going down the baby isle for lotion and ONLY lotion.

Whatever you choose--CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY!!!

Happy Training!!!

I have help potty train alot of kids prob more than 20 and the best thing I have found it to use traing underware they are alot cheaper than pull up and they can be washed the only time we put pull ups or diapers is nap time and bed time and usually with in 1 week they are dry all day and almost dry during their sleeping time good luck

I've just started potty training my daughter an dused the cold liner ones and she doesn't feel it cold at all. It might be a simple as the liner isn't snug enough against their little tush!! I find that the stores never have the size I need so I end up getting one size too big!!

i have tried them with my daughter (3years old) and she still doesn't get the urge to go to the potty when she feels wet. Also, the inside stuff seems to come off after she wets herself (like the gel) I personaly think that Pull-Ups have finally outdown themselves with new creations to try to potty train. The ones that I have found that my daughter has really liked was the ones with the disappearing outer stars and such, but, she likes to run around naked to WATCH them disappear!

i haven't tried them but I'm trying to introduce my twins to the potty to no avail so your frustration seems so familar to me.

i considered trying those diapers that are supposed to make them feel wet, but my kids just don't care how wet they are. they don't find it uncomfortable.

in the meantime if you have to keep buying diapers check out www.1800diapers.com it delivers diapers with no tax or delivery fee and price is similar to warehouse club prices. it is one of my easy tricks.
