Is it possible for dreaming about being molested by relatives to be an accurate memory, even if there is no conscious memory?

I know that it is possible to repress memories. They usually do come out on their own and at a time or in a way we do not want. Yours may be coming out in dreams. Best way to deal with this is to get counseling. Talking about your past with someone who knows how to ask the right questions can make the truth come out. Be prepared to face it - you may not like it. If you think it is a relative who did this to you , you will need to confront them eventually and that is not easy. Good luck!

properly normally..all those suspicions prove to b authentic. i'm no longer a phycologist so this isnt an educatied opinion. it relatively is basically the opinion of a fifteen 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old who has considered and been by wayyyyy greater issues then a intense schooler could. I used to have suspicions approximately some intense issues in my relatives existence...theres a majority of those secrets and strategies tht my paretns saved from me continuously (and a few issues they nevertheless refuse to communicate) properly i found out that each and every thing i presumed became authentic...and the craziest section is i had absolutly no reason to think of it..i basically kinda observed issues happening and placed the products together...besides i dont kno if thats wht u rly wanna hear yet im basically saying that for the time of my existence iv had a good number of "inklings" and theyv proved authentic particularly much each and every time <3 stable success

Yes, the mind is a powerful thing, sounds like you suppressed what happened to you when you where younger. Something must have triggered the dreams. You need therapy to determine what happened, even if you have no conscious memory.

I really have no valid qualification to be anwering this but from things I've learnt in psychology and neuroscience you may have repressed the memories - this often (I've heard) happens with traumatic situations such as the one you are describing....especially if it happened at a very young age...If it is bothering you maybe go speak to a proffessional psychologist/psychiatrist.........

Yeah, I can see that happening. I'm not a headshrinker or anything, but sometimes the mind does repress things so traumatic to protect itself and, I can see how it can manifest itself into dreams.
