1. countries of origin?
started in Macca in secrets at first (Sudia Arabia), then spread all over.

2. Historical figures and events?
Muhammad (P) become a prophet when he turned 40. his best friend or the 2nd man is Abu Bakr (the father of Ayisha that prophet Muhammad married young) . both of them decided to preach Islam publicly for the 1st time, which result in insulting Muhammad and Abu Bakr from Arab pagans, the Arab pagans started to beat them, and stop them from spreading Islam by killing/torturing anyone convert to Islam.

3. central beliefs?
worship the one universal God. nothing before or after Him

4. Nature of God?
One universal God. He is not three or Jesus, He has not begot neither He has begotten, nothing like HIm or comparable to Him. He is Allah. God is something that is compelete, He has an mercy, forgiviness, Anger, punisher, lovable... God has 99 names in Islam.

5. Texts?
the texts of the Quran is pure Arabic (pure Arabic means not with any accent, but just plain pure, the Arabic of the beginning is clear)

6. Ritual and practices?
the main duties are : witness and believe there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his last prophet. pray five times a day, Fast, do Zakah (charity). and do Haj if you were able to (visit the black house in Macca).

7. Ethics and morality?
loyal to God, submit to Him alone. tender to ward the parents, orphans, needy, hunger, poor. give charity, never hurt your neighbours. forgive, has mercy on whoever on the earth, be clean (ur body and ur cloth), kind toward your women, fair toward the wife, teacher for ur kids, responsibility toward your family (God will ask you about ur family). ... and much more.
