I find that most people think that "love should conquer all". But the truth is, there's more to a person than how she feels about her lover! Keeping that important fact in mind, it's possible (though not always the case) that someone can cheat on you and still love you, beat you and still love you, and yes, fear you and still love you!
A girl might fear you for reasons that have nothing to do with your relationship - for example, maybe she truly trusts you, but she's been hurt before and is used to guarding herself from being hurt again - or it may have something to do with one of your traits - for example, maybe she loves you, but you can get critical of her sometimes and she's scared you'll say something that really affects her.
The most common one, however, is a more general fear of getting hurt. Everyone has this fear, but for some (and for different reasons) this fear is very strong.
Always remember that how you feel about someone is never enough to keep the rest of your psychology from jumping in and making things for confusing! For example, here's a common situation: a husband and wife are very close and love each other a lot. But the wife had a bad day at work. She came home and was snappy with her husband. Does this mean she doesn't truly love him, since her love for him should have outweighed her bad day? Of course not. People are bigger than their own relationships.
I think the best thing to do is be understanding and make sure to communicate, communicate, communicate about the issue.

My first question is how do you know she is in love with you? Love is a very tricky feeling. Alot of times a girl thinks she is in love but it's not in love it's infacuation or you do something that really captures her heart. How do you know she is scared of you? Maybe it's not you but she is just protecting her heartfrom being hurt again I think you both should sit down and have a discussion about the way you are feeling in the relationship. What ever you do, give her time and don't push her into anything she may not be ready for. Good luck and I hope you find your answer to this situation!!

Yes a girl can be scared of you if she is in love with you cuz she might be scared of getting her heart broke. That and she might be freaked out that she loves you.

If you have done something to her that has scared her then yes she could be afraid of you. Try to calm her down and see why she is scared of you. Did she see you do something that you are not aware of?

Yes it is very possible,
maybe she dosent want to get hurt or its some thing in her past...
but it defenently can happen just try and make her feel loved
