Anyone here get out of the Marine Corps recently and have any websites or information to share that would help start a life outside the military??

Militray.com. It's a forum and news site with thousands of service personnel and veterans as member, including myself. There are all sorts of forum subjects from current events to job assistance to just plain branch bashing. Lots of helpful people available, a few trolls to deal with as well. Plenty of dirty humor also.

connect. you should use the GI bill to pay for faculty. i needed to affix out of HS yet my mom grow to be psychotically adversarial to it (she had lots of the same objections your dad and mom have, none of that are realistice, btw). I joined besides after I ran out of faculty funds. in case you actually opt to bypass, do it. it is your existence and also you'll be an individual. Your dad and mom receives over it. do not waste funds on something you're literally not constructive you opt to do. college grow to be the answer to each thing, yet no longer anymore- and that i'm saying this as a school grad. Do what you imagine is ideal. and that i knew some those who referred to as their human beings from uncomplicated to inform them that they had joined up.

Try www.va.gov...for resources, but it depends on what career field you want
