Polytheism is a sin??!! I'd have thought these bozos would love a pantheon of gods given their ecstatic outpourings to a god. Oh, I get it, the abrahamic god can't stand competition where he would lose hands down.

Trinity

a word not found in Scripture, but used to express the doctrine of the unity of
God as subsisting in three distinct Persons. This word is derived from the Gr.
trias, first used by Theophilus (A.D. 168-183), or from the Lat. trinitas,
first used by Tertullian (A.D. 220), to express this doctrine. The propositions
involved in the doctrine are these: 1. That God is one, and that there is but
one God (Deut. 6:4; 1 Kings 8:60; Isa. 44:6; Mark 12:29, 32; John 10:30). 2.
That the Father is a distinct divine Person (hypostasis, subsistentia, persona,
suppositum intellectuale), distinct from the Son and the Holy Spirit. 3. That
Jesus Christ was truly God, and yet was a Person distinct from the Father and
the Holy Spirit. 4. That the Holy Spirit is also a distinct divine Person.

Jesus spoke of God as a whole, but then He told of Himself as being the Son of God and One with the Father, He called God, Father, and He spoke of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of God, so they are all referred to as the whole God, but also as a seperate person of God, so it's One God with Three ways He's revealed Himself but all are called God but as talked as seperate, God can do this He is God not limited by physical boundaries. It's part of God's test to our faith and it shows His power of being 1 yet being three that are seperate from 1 but are the same as 1, confusing, yes, but not all things can we understand. He's God and the Holy Trinity is referred to as the One True God and three different ways that are seperate but the same, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. It's hard to understand no matter how you look at it but like Webster said if I could understand the Holy Trinity then God would be limited just like man and would be no greater than man, but the fact that I cannot explain it makes Him greater than man and proves He is God. Those are not his exact words but it's something like that you might understand it better that way.

First, the Devil is not the god of evil, but just the first fallen angel who became the head poncho of hell. The Trinity thing was taught because Jesus, the son of God, spoke of his "Father" and of the "Holy Spirit", which are just God, but since he spoke of them separately, Christ, the Father, and the Holy Spirit became 3 different ways of talking of God.

I borrowed this answer because I stand in complete agreement with Seven. Here's Seven's answer...

"There is one God. His nature has been revealed to mankind in 3 persons. I would go into more detail, but I suspect that you are not really looking for an answer."..

Actually, true christians don't believe in the trinity. That is an unscriptual teaching and anyone who is candid about what the bible really says will admit it.
