Yes.
Catholics believe suicide when committed in full knowledge and deliberate consent is a complete turning away from God (a mortal sin) and will send a person to hell.
There are 3 conditions of a mortal sin: grave matter, full knowledge, and deliberate consent.
While suicide (or any kind of murder) is always a grave matter, people who commit suicide may not always have full knowledge of what they're doing. Drugs can definitely impair one's thinking, as can other things, such as diseases, intense pain, or anguish.
Therefore, suicide is not automatically treated as a mortal sin.
We are commanded by Christ not to judge others so we leave final judgment to God who alone knows each person's heart.
With love in Christ.

You write; How do I know when it is my time to die? Obviously, if you are pre-empting your own life it is not your time naturally.
I am not a bible beater that is going to send a bunch of meaningless scriptures and don't even believe that if you take your own life you will go to hell because for me none of that even exists?
But life is / can be precious and goes so fast just in an natural course. You must be feeling pain and for that I wish there was some words I could send that would help or make things better, but I really don't know what that those words should be? Hopefully, just the fact I responded without judging you will help in someway.... KEEP STRONG through whatever means necessary. I will be thinking of you.

Yes, suicide is murdering yourself and that is a sin. No one knows the hour but God Himself. If you knew, it would take all the flavor out of life (or you might commit more sins just to repent the day before you die).
