Even though some religions claim to know the answer to this, I think I can safely say that no one really knows what happens after you die. As with so many things in this faith, not all Wiccans share precisely the same concept of an afterlife. That said, here is a general idea of what most Wiccans believe in.

After we die, our soul goes to a resting place called the Summerland. This is not a 'heaven', since it is only a place where our souls reside until being reborn. We strongly believe in reincarnation. Each life brings us different experiences and situations. New lessons are learned every time. If we do not face the challenges and overcome them, we will likely find ourselves reliving the same problems over and over.

Of course, we are not aware of these past-lives at any given time, except during our time in the Summerlands.
There, we can look back on what we've learned as well as visit with any loved ones who are also there.

Since we view life and death as an ongoing process or cycle, we don't see the afterlife as being a reward (or punishment) in the heaven/hell sense. It's all a growth process. Just because we don't have a 'hell' to worry about, doesn't mean we feel that we can get away with bad behaviour. Each lifetime is balanced by universal forces (sometimes referred to as Karma). We don't consider negative experiences in our lives as punishments, simply that some lessons are best learned through experience.

Well there are a lot of different theories and I'm sure you've heard that Wicca (and Paganism) are very personalized spiritual paths. You choose what to believe and what not to (within the framework of what can be considered Pagan, obviously). However, most Wiccans believe in reincarnation and that our souls are immortal. They feel as though the purpose in each life is to learn a certain set of life lessons (which you chose before choosing your physical encasement [body] for this lifetime on Earth) when you have learned all the lessons possible (which, let me tell you, are QUITE A FEW!!!) you achieve Enlightenment and you re-join the Universal Consciousness, (basically you become one with the Creator of All Things). It is so much more complex than that -- but I would love to chat with you about Wicca and help you along your path.

A great book to read about the afterlife:

Journy of Souls, by Michael Newton, PhD.

Feel free to message me if you would like to chat more. :-)

Blessings and Light!

There aren't any authentic teachings about the afterlife in Wicca. Wicca is a faith that makes a speciality of your courting such as your Gods and how you stay your existence. no longer a lot on after demise, which truly won't be able to be popular besides. some Wiccans have self assurance there's a form of spirit international, they call Summerland each now and then, it really is nearly a resting position. Many count number on reincarnation. some human beings merely have self assurance demise is the end of existence-- end of information. those are the kinds of issues that Wicca leaves as a lot as you and your Gods to verify out. the way I see it, inspite of occurs will happen. because the single ingredient I actually don't have self assurance is any type of divine punishment in the style of heaven/hell, I verify i will both i will provide up being conscious altogether, or i'd be conscious and flow on. i do not see any think about irritating about it.

I'm not sure they have anything set in stone. I've read one person's answer that suggested that they become (ghosts I guess?) and hang around with their ancestors, watching over the still alive folk. Another person said they become part of nature. And yet another one said they get reincarnated.

I tend to believe the nature one, ya know, cause we rot and become part of the earth again, but I'm not a wiccan. Just tellin ya what I heard =)

You'll probably get a lot of varied answers but some of the "pagan" or Wiccan that I have had contact with in my time as a healer come to believe in a reunion of some kind with their Divine source whatever that may be, God, Godess, Mother & Father. Good luck in your search.

Wiccans believe that we all go to a place called the Summerland, a paradise where it's always summer (hence the name). There we rest until it is time for us to reincarnate.

Does it strike people as odd that we humans use our belief and thought systems like we use clothes? We try things on and, whatever we like and see as fitting, we use. It makes me realize that all thought and belief systems are just things made up by humans to create an artificial reality of meaning. And it's used to give people an identity. People 'become' Christian and then just adopt its afterlife beliefs. Same thing with Wicca and other religions. It makes truth into this absurd thing that becomes just whatever someone believes. Truth doesn't change, regardless of our beliefs; I'd rather try to seek it directly by going for direct experience instead of adopting a belief system and treating the beliefs as my truth.

God gave you like a shield so that demons don't harm you, but when you sin or do something spiritually wrong, you open yourself up to demonic influence. For example, chanting mantras leads to demon possession. It's not the words that get you possessed; it's the rhythm. Buddhists worship fake mountain Kailash in Tibet inside which demons have a UFO base. Barcode is Druid black magic curse. Mediums are shown pictures and given thoughts by demons. Demons move the Ouija board. Demons=Ghosts=Spirit Guides=Aliens. Demons never do good. Demons fly in UFOs. Crystal balls, tarot cards, barcodes, tattoos, talismans, masks, skulls, amulets, etc. attract demons. Meditation, chanting mantras, and astral projection lead to demon possession. Casting spells is asking demons for help. Ask Greek Orthodox priest to help you out (blessing your house, etc.) Most dreams and thoughts are from demons. To break any curse, pray slowly the Psalm "the Lord is my light and my salvation" 40 times a day for 40 straight days. That's 1600 times in total. Also, if you're in any trouble (like sleep paralysis), scream: JESUS ! Jesus will come back to end the flying antichrist's rule when this antichrist conceives a thought in his evil mind that he 666-isotope-ray-lasered everyone. Antichrist's minions came up with Dec. 21 in order to desensitize people to the real events predicted in the Bible. Antichrist is 0% God and 100% man. He's possessed by Satan since he's 12 years old. He flies. He wears gloves to hide long nails. He's pale with red eyes. He's surrounded by demons who appear as angels of light. 666ed people go to permanent hell. 666 is given by lasers (isotope rays) on wrist or forehead when people stretch hands to receive small plastic grey card (world passport). Reject 666. Don't go into a UFO to be healed by demons. Those who reject 666 will go to heaven. Also, their direct ancestors will be saved from hell. Dinosaurs live under our level. They will get out through sinkholes and lakes. To kill them, go for their nerves. Again, 666 is given by isotope rays on wrist or forehead when people stretch hands to receive small plastic grey card (world passport). Police will chip and isotope ray people on highways. Food stores will isotope ray people too. Antichrist will also release prisoners to mark people. Reject 666 at all cost. If you're about to be marked, scream: "Lord, have mercy!" three times. Go hide with Orthodox Christians to escape 666. After death, 3 days you here, then you're shown hell and heaven from 3rd until 9th day after death, then from 9th until 40th day demons accuse you of sins; that was before, now people just straight out go to temporary hell because of Social Security; but 666ed people go to permanent hell right away; 666 is given when people stretch hands to accept the evil plastic card. Before Jesus preached in hell, all people (except Enoch and Elijah) went to hell. Now, aborted kids go to hell for 33 and a half years. After crucifiction, Jesus preached in hell. Those who believed, got out of hell. Suicide leads to hell. Maximum torture is at the bottom (ice hell) for biggest sinners. Stalin is head in boiling water. When he tries to get out, demons push him back in. Others stand up to knees or up to chest in boiling water. There are different punishments in hell. If you didn't do anything bad, you're in a dark room. Also, hell is not permanent now. So, it's possible to get out, especially if you're prayed for and your relatives give to charity in the name of Archangel Michael. http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gitie.ru%2FRaznoe%2FMitarstva.html&act=url http://fatheralexander.org/booklets/english/life_after_death.htm http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2F3rm.info%2F28475-molitva-za-usopshih-na-arhangela-mihaila-19-sentyabrya-i-21-noyabrya-apostol-ioann-bogoslov-i-igumen-guriy.html&act=url
