Did you know we do them first then work out how to justify them later if you don't believe me then look around your work place and i bet you can find things that make no sense at all but whoever thought of them will try and explain as rational thinking and convince you they make sense you will do the same and some things will only make sense to you

bottom line? Either because we can or because we have to. That is it. Sometimes we can be forced into things, but even if forced, we still have the choice, unless we don't get the choice, in which case, we're back to have to.
That's a bit like Donald Rumsfeld's (?) known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns.

we do the things we do to learn from them, and unfortunately we don't learn the first time so it happens again and again until we do learn. we are only brought into this world to learn the lessons we didn't learn in our last life that's my theory anyhow.
