I'm just taking an informal survey of how many Yahoo! Answers users are liberal or conservative. I am not using these answers for any reason, it's just curiosity. No need for name-calling, put-downs, or meanness, just one out of three possible answers:
A] Liberal
B] Moderate
C] Conservative.
Thanks!

These aren't "labels". Just, for goodness sake, which do you lean towards the most? I mean, you can explain further if you want. I know it's not a very simple question. But one most issues, what do you usually agree with most?

Please, Salaem, don't fan the flames with this devisive labeling. You are giving people 3 vague choices which could never accurately reflect the opinions and sentiments of a nation of 270 million people. I mean, you didn't come up with these 3 categories, right? These are somebody elses labels.
The power brokers confuse us into thinking that we have to be one or the other, and it offers no room for independent thought and creativity. No room for individualism. Almost everybody is liberal on some things, conservavtive on some things, and moderate on most things. All at the same time. The labeling keeps us at odds with each other. It makes us view each other from a cross a line on the floor, wearing different colored jerseys. It makes us see separateness, instead of common interests. This allows the powers that be to do whatever they want, because we are fighting each other, and accusing the other side of being the cause of nothing being accomplished. Meanwhile, the status quo quietly continues.
Please consider how you contribute to this problem with this question. Let's choose to not identify with labels someone else made up.

I think the Republicans can learn a lot from the democrats and the Democrats can learn a lot about the Republicans. They both have strengths and weaknesses. I believe that the Democrats need to tone down their liberalism and beef up their military ideas. The Republicans should listen to the Democrats about the economy. I have not seen anyone Moderate in a while...well maybe Pres. Clinton he was always in the gray area on moral issues and controversy such as abortion, gay rights, etc.

Labels do nothing positive. Then endless debates and less than civil discussions of liberal vs conservative wastes a great deal of energy and time. Both ends of the political spectrum now "representing" us in Washington seem perfectly happy to continue deficit spending and business as usual, for example. I think the liberal vs conservative debate is a carefully designed strategy to divide the American people and keep us from focusing on the most important things to all of us, like providing a better standard of living for our children and getting affordable health care.

Moderate, I also am Conservative. I do not think a 9 trillion debt is goo for America. Liberal, I do not agree with the killing of 300,000 to 500,000 civilians in Iraq since desert Storm. I also do not agree with the policy of invasion after Iraq surrendered. Liberal, I also do not agree that it is good for America to have a working class tax payer cost of $2 trillion for the Iraq war and 19,000 wounded and 2601 dead in Iraq.
Many things in life are not as simple as A, B, C.

Moderate Conservative. Most people will tell you that they are not one or the other all the time. To me, for example, it depends on the issue.
When it come to school financing, I'm Liberal
When it comes to civil rights issues, I'm moderate.
And, when it comes to the war on terrorism, I'm conservative.
So, your questions is a faulty one. You shold have asked about an issue, then ask people their political position on that issue.

I'm all over the place. Conservative on some things, moderate on others, and liberal on a few.

Neither.
I don't agree that it's a linear spectrum, and that those are the only categories. My personal views align with liberals on some issues, conservatives on other issues, and I'm either moderate or have no strong opinion on many more issues.
So, while my personal beliefs are very strong, and I am fairly active in promoting them, they don't really fall into that linear spectrum.

you incredibly did no longer anticipate liberals to have self belief your source, did you ? liberals basically have self belief factors that consider them like whilst liberals believed the LinkyDinky parody web site that had a pretend named college in PA, that had a reseach record that pronounced Bush had an 89 IQ Heck, even mainstream liberal media quoted that made up parody web site, like it became authentic

Moderate. Though by judging by some of extreme liberal points of view on this site makes me feel like a minority.
