I met this guy when I was 19 & we were traditionally (through our religion without legal papers) married when I was 20 then I left him when I was 22. He means a great deal to me although he was verbally abusive. He drank, smoked herb & ciggs, and sometimes didn't work while I paid the bills, cooked & cleaned everyday. He had a really bad temper, and broke everything in our home often. However he was also my first everything & was my very best friend when I needed someone. I am an attractive 23 y/o asian accountant that's having a blast just dating & hanging out with friends. We've been broken up for almost a year. He says he wants a second shot, should I? Why or why not? We've tried this twice before, will he change ever??

NO!!!!! He proved that he wasn't worth your time...move on. You'll eventually get over him. You deserve so much more, and there are SO MANY guys out there who are dying to meet a pretty, smart woman just like you! I've been in bad relationships before. It's always tempting when they say they have changed, but it's NEVER true!

Well, if you really want to you should give him a second chance but I'm a little worried about him being verbally and want to break everything in the house I will think twice about letting him back into my life. Maybe if you two went to therapy and try to help him then he will be more caring and affectionate I'm just saying.
