Ma girlfriend left me
my mule got lame
lost my money in a poker game
wind storm came up just the other day
blew the house that I lived in away
I'm having so much trouble
so much trouble
so much trouble I'm about to lose my mind....

Well - your attitude is what makes you think life is bad. At the risk of sounding Pollyanna... Can't you be thankful you had a dog and enjoyed it as long as you did? Chairs break - cars break, homes burn, etc. Be thankful your chair broke - it could have been your house burned. Your boyfriend left? Think hard and I bet you can find the silver lining there too. Try to count your blessings and quit looking at everything through a negative filter. It's not this life that matters so much as where you'll spend eternity; many don't know the love of Christ and will not have eternity in Heaven... focus on them more than on yourself. Looking inward is another reason we get to feeling bad about life. Look at the good and focus on how you can help those who have it FAR worse! Good luck and God bless you. ~Nisa

Hmmm .. Your dog died because it was it's time.
Your chair broke because chairs do that eventually. Mine did the other day.
Your boyfriend left for whatever reason doesn't mean you got bad luck from a necklace. It's life. Bad things are going to happen.

Chantel,
The next thing you'd be saying is that your Father was distant.
Sorry about your losses. You survived it!
Where does someone get strength in these days of so much bad news?
I would let you know that you can trust God to get you through. It sounds cliche, but didn't He promise:
Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Remember to keep your eyes on Jesus.

You better throw that necklace away...fast! She lied to you. First of all, things to bring good luck...there is no such thing as good luck. There are good decisions and blessings from God. Secondly, wicked people can attach spells (demons) to physical things and when you bring those items into your house, you are letting demons in your house. This may sound wack, but it is all so true!

Life is what you make of it. Ask the Lord to let his will be done in your life and I promise things will get better. Get rid on the necklace to.

life only suck from your POV you need to change it. The dog is in a better place, you needed a new chair anyway, and he wasn't worth wasting your time. Better now?
