I was throwing the night before, (dinner not cooked well) but the redness in the corner of my eye has spread a little bit everyday. My question is, is it really serious? And how long will it take to get back to normal?

I am guessing you meant to say throwing up. Vomitting can cause a blood vessel to burst and just like said earlier, it's like a bruise but you can see it since the covering is clear (unlike your skin). So, just like a bruise, it takes a while to heal and absorb. With gravity, it will naturally spread but this is just an indication that it is healing.

I popped one when I was moving a heavy sofa in June and blood spread all over the white part of my eye. Yours probably isn't a big deal, unless there is blood in the iris or pupil.

Mine healed in about 2 weeks. Hope yours heals soon.

If it doesn't start to yellow a bit and fade in a day or two, see a doctor. I burst several veins in both eyes while delivering my oldest son. It's like a bruise, it should heal by 10 days.

Do you see "floaters" ? (Dark specks that move around). It takes a few weeks for those to go away. It's probably not serious, but to be on the safe side, you should see an eye doctor.

You should see a doctor to be safe. It could be simple and will go away by itself, or it may be a sign of something more serious.
