Well, if we are in fact created in God's image.. we are like God. Besides, we all have a part of the Divine within us, pretty much no matter what you believe. So that means if we fart then God must fart too!
I wonder if his farts smell nice, cuz he is God an all. On the other hand, maybe that's what wiped out the dinosaurs though - God let a real nasty one rip and that was THAT! *chuckle*.
But seriously. I wonder if Jesus had gas? He was human, he must have. Can you imagine? Did he politely hold it in and wait until there were no lepers or apostles nearby so that he could go and fart in private? Or did he just cut the cheese as he pleased and his whole gang laughed and thought he was a riot? "Oh you, J.C. not again! We know it was you!!". Yeah. Things that make you go hmmmm.
So no, it can't possibly be a sin to break wind. God and Jesus fart like the rest of us. Oh and don't even get me started on Mary!!
