the great minds of Christianity througout the ages have never been able to clear up questions about God being all-powerful and the concept of free will, and the devil having power over people. They have never been able to solve the puzzle of a 3-in one God.

Is this why the chuch demands blind faith in the face of nonsensical contradictions?

OK, Carol, blind faith means believing in something without wanting any proof of its veracity (veracity means truthful content). If you are calling this term a buzzword, I imagine it is because some people are very uncomfortable with the term.

Christianity is not blind faith. There are two types of faith the blind faith you refer to and faith that is more akin to active trust. I have faith in Christianity because i have compelling reasons to believe this is so. The fact that i don't completely understand all of the particulars does not affect that. And many wonderful answers have been given to the problem of free will, and the sovereignty of God have been given. Just talk to a Calvinist this is the stuff they live on. I forget who gave the famous quote of "Faith seeking understanding." I trust God in other areas because He has shown Himself to be trustworthy I can trust Him in areas that I don't yet understand. Science has not worked out all the problems with evolutionary theory yet, and there are many wonderful objections to it, but you most likely believe in that. We are no more foolish than anyone else in that regard. I don't know specifically what you mean by the church, if you mean Catholic or just the church as a whole, so I can't answer that, but The Bible never takes the tactic you're claiming, God's Word never says just shut up and believe. Paul, Jesus, and the other New Testament writers always gave reasons and evidence for their conclussions. Paul said you want to know if Jesus rose, there are five hundred people who saw Him, go talk to them find out for yourself, not just trust me on this. Christianity can be an extremely rationally satisfying anwer.

Oh, my Dear, no, no, no...there is never a need to be "blind" in your faith.
There were & are many great minds among us...many were & are not Christian, and since Pope Constantine "redesigned" Christianity, the followers of much of their sects are stuck in that mode of "I'm the only one & this is the only way...". But truth & the research of seeking such has little to do with "their way".

Let's clear some air for you....the 3-in-One "puzzle"...The Father, The Mother, The Holy Spirit...the male, the female, the Connector...two entities combined in pure love...the "we are created in the image of God" trinity.

Free-Will Choice...the spirit's ability used to chart the next life & it's purpose(s), carried into that life to fulfill such.

The Devil...no such a contrivance...except by man to inpart fear into their religion's control factor.

And would you not put entities who Create soooo much, all that we know, all that we are...in the catagory of omnipotent...the Grand Owners...the Almighty of the Show? Works for me!

Now, you don't have to "believe" anything written here, but if something rings that little soul bell, take it...and simply leave the rest. There are places to do your homework, there is your inner voice--your direct connect to God & Goddess,..."seek & you shall find, ask and it will be answered..." Good Journey!!!!

God, nor the Bible demand blind faith. In fact God encourages us in the Bible to search the scriptures, question those who claim to come in His name and decide for yourself if they are true.

God gave you a mind, he expects you to use it.

You say that "they have never been able to clear up questions, and never solved the puzzle of a 3 in 1 God.

These are your opinions and are not a puzzle to many Christians including myself. Simply because you refuse or are unwilling to accept the explanation does not make it less of an explanation.

Science has never proven the "theory" of evolution. Science has never proven that macro evolution has ever taken place, yet people believe that with much more faith.

God beseaches you to search the scriptures and decide for yourself. Have you read the Bible? Have you read Darwin's theory or are you simply basing what you know on what others have told you in blind faith.

People can be faithful to Christianity and still have logic as the bases of their faith. This can be proved by the writings and lives of Augustine, St. Thomas Aquantis, Terturlian, and more modern men of faith like CS Lewis and Pope Benedict. Faith and logic are not enemies at all, in fact if used properly logic will lead you to faith.

of course not. if one follows by blind faith alone, then he or she are doomed to miss the gospel.

as for the 3-in-one, it is rather simple.

1 is God
2 is the embodiment of God in a mortal body
3 is the Holy Spirit that enters the body of those who accept God
as the creator and Christ as the Messiah.

i dont see the nonsensical contradiction, but then again, i am only a scientist who just happens to be christian as well.

Blind faith is not the only way. It all depends on a person's personal relationship to his Creator. The church can sometimes be misleading or confusing because there is also indecisiveness among church leaders. Majority wants to be a saint of his own.

I never saw any church demand blind faith, and I do not see the contradictions that you see. Light and darkness can make shadow, and shadows are tricky things. One must inquire of these things in the proper light to find the solution.
