Love is blind because you don't need your eyes to see love, you see it with your heart. You shouldn't have to see the outside of a person to love them, you should love their inside (personality and heart). Love with your heart no matter what anyone says, but make sure your heart runs its decisions by your brain before you execute cause that could get a little messy otherwise.

LOL gillen_s was dumb lol but love is blind because when you're in love with someone you don't want to see the bad parts of the relationship so it somehow blinds you...it sux...lol

I don't believe that love is blind. Love is KNOWING and CONSCIOUS.

i think of real love as this: you care SO much for that person, that you want the best for them...even if it may be bad for you. their happiness is put above yours.

Ok, so having said that, your love is DAMN special then, right? that is why you have to make sure you find someone who can love you back the same way. because...

if u love him so much u want Best for him, his happiness is above urs

and he loves you so much he wants Best for you, your happiness is above his

then you have everything Covered. you will be able to weather any storm, get thru any problems, and work together to make things Better, Healthier, and Happier.

that is why it's important to have expectations for urself, from ur boyfriend, and from the relationship, and communicate w/ that person. if u are working toward same goals, you will be able to get thru things in positive manner. but if that person has different ideas, or doesn't want same things, or doesn't know how to satisfy your needs as well, then ur in for rough time. it is worth it to make sure you will be a Wonderful Girlfriend and person so that u can expect a Wonderful Boyfriend for you. :)
