"The eternal word of God" being the ruler of the universe with great power and glory chose to became a humble servant named Jesus Christ, therefore was insulted,abused,humilated,and crucified because of his love for us!! What does this tell us about God's love?

God's love is unconditional!
Jesus was a perfect sacrifice for sin, because He knew no sin.
He paid the punishment for your sin and mine, yea, for all mankind. He loves us that much!
Oh what a wonderful love!

That the love of God and Jesus is so deep and complete, so I should give all I can back to them and show appreciation for the life I have now, and the promise of a future in God's service.

It tells me that God has eternal love for everyone. He would not have let Jesus go through with what He did if He did not love us. I for one, am proud to call Jesus my Lord and Savior.

What kind of sacrifice is a brief sojourn on Earth that ends a little unpleasantly if you are eternal and cannot be killed.
Illogic doesn't mean much to me or tell me anything worthwhile because it's just confused thinking.

he first loved us and gave us an opportunity to live.
Without his sacrifice nothing would make any sense.
Now we can live forever and look forward to the day people who desrespect him will be gone.
