First of all be yourself, be genuine.Be a gentlemen yesss women do love Romance :) Pull out her chair, open her door, bring a small bunch of flower's, If you pick them yourself and they look good, even better! Be kind.... NOT just to her. Talk, but be a great listener.
Relax & have FUN!!
Good Luck

Depends on the lady, but the most normal thing would be to take her out to dinner.... movies, you can't really talk... and just be yourself.

Remember to have a shower first, women can smell stale odors very easily. Anyway shower then buy some flowers.....
Pick her up and take her to a nice restaurant, normally you will be paying for the first date... pretty normal. But if she wants to pay half, let her... but always suggest that you want to pay as you took her out.

Just hope she doesn't think you'll be paying all the time down the line..... well hope not.
After a few dates the restaurants you go to will downgraded to normal eateries. Thats if the woman wants you to spend less. If that is the case then coooooool. good luck

Definitely don't see a movie. A lot of dudes do that cos they can't think of anything to do and it's relatively cheap. But you won't get to know her at all during the movie, considering you won't be able to talk. Go somewhere fun, like the beach, an amusement park, or even something kind of cheesy like a picnic. Don't try impressing her, just be yourself. And don't be pushy.

Here are some:

1. Pay for the dinner/lunch/whatever

2. Show her your sensitive romantic side by talking slow walk

3. Make sure you smell good...Hugo Boss

4. Dress nice (can't stress this enough, this is very important)

5. Resist the first-date-kiss rule, save it for the next time (this ensures a second date and she will likely not be able to resist you)

Hun, the most impressive thing you could do is be yourself!
Besides you don't want someone to like you for who your TRYING to be do you? It would never work out in the end anyways.

Impress YOURSELF with your likes and hobbies and others who are of like mind will appreciate your openness and honesty!

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!!!! (Cheesy but quite true)

Treat her the way you would have someone treat your sister. At least, somewhat. Be polite and open the doors for her. Ask her questions that require thought and then actually listen. You know, the things most guys don't do.

Be yourself. If you try to be other than yourself, you will have to keep up that image and she would expect that from you all of the time. Let her know what she's getting from the start. Have fun on your first date.

Go to dinner, take a walk in a park, or a nice stroll to a beach, and just talk. Always a nice ice breaker.
