Which soul would he save? I know most theists are allergic to hypotheticals, but I want to know how much you think Jesus loves you. Would he feel more duty toward God than you, if your souls were on the line...? Say, the loser goes to Hell for eternity. (Personally, I think if God saw fit to create a place of torture, then create beings who will be tortured, He deserves to go there.)

We're one in the same. Therefore, he'd be saving us both.

(Oh, that is soo beautiful...)

Jesus,God The Father, and The Holy Spirit are all equal. Yes, there are three persons of the Godhead called the trinity. Believe it or not Jesus is just as old as God the father. they did this for us so that when we speak of one or the other, other people would know which one you are talking about. Jesus did not come along when he was born of the virgin Mary. He was here from the beginning. Jesus would not have that choice to make,as God the father is not a mortal soul as we are. You have made the mistake that so many people make. You think that there is a place of torture. There is not. Read in Revelation close to the end of the last chapters. God is telling what is happening. The Holy city comes down from heaven, and sets down. It has beautiful walls, that are transparent. All the wicked are on the outside, and there are millions of them. Led by Satan they think they can take the city. Then God rains down fire on them and they are burned up. They are ashes under your feet, and they shall never be anymore. God is a fair God. He would not punish you for millions of years for not obeying him. Your greatest punishment will be to see what you missed. Millions of years of wonderful life. Never tired or sick. It is beyond our small minds what God has prepared for us. And this has no end. It goes on for billions and trillions of years. And after all this time it will be just as good after several million years have passed. It will be as good then as it was the first day. God wants you there. You were in his plans a million years ago,and the bible says he is jeolous of you.

Your question is not logical.
1) God is not someone who can need saving.
2) God created souls, and therefore does not have one.

However, these aside...

Jesus would save me, rather than God. He did it once before.
He, Jesus, God the Son, died on a Cross...tortured horribly...so that I could be saved. He allowed God (the Son) to die for me.

However, loser going to Hell is just ridiculous. Hell is reserved for those who sin against God. God cannot sin against God (illogical!). Therefore, God cannot be made to go to Hell.

Even hypotheticals must fall within the boundaries of logic.

First of all you didn't die last year and go to hell and came back so you don't know what it is or what it's like. And Jesus would chose God. In God's plan their is a greater good. And even if this were possible I would want him to chose God, because its not about loyalty or duty its about love for God and he would have to trust God if he were asked to do so.

Well, you got a lot of good answers already (although some are not very polite...) so I'll just say that God didn't make hell. Hell is the place where God isn't. Earth is as close to heaven as unsaved people will ever get. Earth is as close to hell as God's children will ever be.

Jesus IS God...there is no other soul to save but mine...think before you ask anymore hypothetical questions

You miss the point. God did not choose Hell. Satan did and his followers. Hell was the creation of Satan freewill to reject God. Freewill that God created in each being, is the Love that God has for each us.

So if you choose Hell, hey it is on you. Do not blame God for your poor choices.

the lady who says whoa lets back it up thats impossible, despite what you said regarding a hypothetical, just says it all doesnt it

yet somehow, its possible for a god to make a human out of dust and clay, and not the hypothetical possibility that life evolved and spat out a human, none of this we came from a lower order of species, we are all cosmic accidents, junk, but oh no lets back it up its totally possible that all loving diety made us

every time i read some non atheist non agnostic answer to anything im made more ill

God is perfect, he doesn't need saving. It was God's ultimate design to send Jesus to die for me and you, to save the both of us. So that question was answered long ago.

Jesus is God the son ... so not sure the question... would he save himself or you... well then the answer is

'He saved others but he couldnt save himself' the Pharisees at the cross... and in an odd way ..they were right

in order to save others he could not save himself

whoa, first lets back up here... first of all thats impossible, if it WERE EVEN POSSIBLE, Jesus was obedient to the His Father- so He would save our souls because that is what He is commanded to do.. yet, He follows the commands of God...

nonetheless, Your question is not to promote your understanding or that of anyone elses... your motivation derives from causing strife.... peace be with you
