ok just wanted to see what everybody thought and my personal answer would be B, many of the things you hear on television are FALSE (like them draining the economy, taking services, etc.) you just need to listen or read from other sources that are not CNN, FOX or any of the popular news. I'm hispanic (legal) but I understand the situation many of those people come from. Oh, and for the girl that said how HORRIBLE our countries are... THEY'RE NOT we actually have all the things you have except their more expensive sometimes and the salaries are way below those of the U.S.

The issue isn't immigration - it's illegal aliens. There is a distinct difference. Immigration is what made this country strong...we have taken the best of every culture in the world and formed a unique culture of our own, which includes laws. When an illegal alien comes into theis country, they are breaking the law - plain and simple.

In the world after 9/11, can we still be so naive that we don't think illegals coming through our southern border could possibly include terrorists? It's so easy for them to do it. For every 5 that are caught, 100-150 get through every day. It is a drain on our economy for 3 reasons:

1. Health care: When they get it, they don't pay for it.
2. The money they make is under the table, and low, so it keeps the American citizen's wages low as well; and they don't pay taxes on it.
3. The majority of the money they earn is sent back to Mexico to help their economy, not ours.

So let's see - free health care, no taxes and higher standard of living for ANOTHER country,,,hmmm; something's just not right here.

Amnesty? Hell no. They should be charged with sedition, espionage and felony conspiricy. Then, deported back, not to Tijuana or Mexicali on our border, but all the way back to the southern border of Mexico. And make them pay for the ticket.

PS: I mention Mexico only because it's where the majority of the problem is coming from. I am not anti-Hispanic. I'm anti illegal alien.

By the way, my wife immigrated LEGALLY to the U.S (from Korea). in 1978. It took nearly two years of government BS, but we stuck it out and sucked it up. There's no excuse for being an illegal!

Well i think Allow the illegal immigrants that have been here for a certain amount of years become citizens!! I am an immigrant(now citizen) i came to the United States from Nigeria legally and it isn't fair that we have to work so hard to get a visa and to get apporved by the united states government as a citizen. i understand their country is horrible, but i think they should try it the legal way first. But economical issues were the reason i am over here i only came for education, while some immigrant need the money so i think we need a middle ground

I think that there should be a better screening process, and if the US government lets you in you're in. The shouldn't let people with felonies in. I think if you want to come, do so legally but I also believe that the *illegals who are ALREADY here should get to stay, they're in they're in: they shouldn't get deported back home.

A, and don't let the door hit you on the way out!

All companies hiring illegals should be fined all of their receipts for any quarters where they used illegals or 'subcontractors' providing illegals for more than 1% of their workforce.
