Well if you're interested in what the Bible has to say...

Jonah 3:10 (King James Version)

"God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not."

Not that the Bible is where I go to find out about god. But if it works for you it is cool by me.

Fair enough. God is omnipotent within the boundaries of his definition. That's the standard arguement Christians use, and it works: you really can't be omnipotent if doing such allows you to transcend the laws of logic. So technically, you have to add a qualifier to omnipotent.

The answer is NO!
Janes 1:13 reads
When under trial let no one say: I am being tried by God. For
with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try
anyone.

god is about love, not evil. he cannot do evil because he is perfect unlike fallen man who is capable of doing great evil. he is omnipotent because his power to do good is limitless.

God, who is Jehovah, doesn't do evil because he's Love. If he would, we would all be dead a long time ago since he's the one who created us. The bible says we need to thank him and love him so he will keep giving us life.

Of course. God created evil. God is all. Just because the CHRISTIANS say (and if they read their Bible, God does evil there too) God is good doesn't mean he's ONLY good

Of course...he has, just read it in his own words in the book.
He sent bears to tear children apart.
He turned people into pillars of salt.
He sent fire to destroy entire cities.
He wiped the earth clean of all life except what was in the ark.
He killed all the first-born sons of an entire nation.
Not to mention he created all the angels, including the one that would become the prince of lies, root of all evil.

he did a lot of "bad" stuff in the old testament.

heck, he wiped out the entire earth with a huge flood.

the old testament god and the new testament god are completely different in terms of how they go about things. the old testament god is vengeful and the new testament god is more like, "love everyone".

I am sure if God is the creator of all, He can also create evil.
