Definitely. It works in Amsterdam. It would create jobs - to harvest, to sell, for owners of "coffee shops" (like the ones in Amsterdam) - and the hemp plant is good for a multitude of other things - clothing, rope, cattle feed, gas (like the canola gas), and more. At this point in time, it's hard to get permits to make things like that from the hemp plant.
Marijuana is just as bad as smoking or drinking, yet those two are legal. It's a soft, soft drug. And if you're worried about it corrupting our youth, Amsterdam has the lowest number of adolescent users in the world. It seems once it's legal, the mystery and mystique of it disappears and the kids aren't so interested anymore.

Yes, the war on drugs needs revitalized, take that prison space and that huge chunk of cash and put it towards stopping dangerous drugs, instead of something far less harmful than legal drugs like alcohol and nicotine.

Definitely God put it on the earth. The Bible says that God provided for all of our needs in nature. Marijuana is probably his natural pain killer. Beer should be illegal if anything. It is man made and more drunk drivers kill people than those high on pot

I believe that is should. Name me one other drug that is natural! I mean pot comes from the earth, it's not mixed with anything, you just smoke it. Hell! Beer is worse for you then pot!

Yes, it should... and all the other "recreational drugs" too. But the government should not regulate them. That way you can buy them on the street and die in the same dark alley before your habit costs me any of my hard earned tax dollars to pay for rehabs, unwanted pregnancies, welfare, etc.
