Hello!

I am researching Mormonism, and I have 6 questions....Looking for members of the LDS church.

I am not trying to attack anyone, I am trying to be as objective as possible, and a book of Mormon is in the mail. However, I am a christian.

It won't let me post all the questions with the references here(too long)...So I posted them online at www.allaboutjoshua.com or http://joshuafkon.googlepages.com/questi...

Thank you very much for your help,

God bless,

Josh

P.S. (1) undoubtably some people are going to think I am attacking Mormonism, I am not, but I am tired of defending myself against those who believe that, I have made every effort to be fair, and if you wish to believe I am only "attacking" that is your right.

(2) I am looking for answers to these questions, not "faith" so please don't tell me to pray about it, (been there, done that,)

(3) I already have the links to lds.org, jefflinsay.com, FAIR,FARMS etc..and I

The link needs to be fixed. I want to answer your questions, but don't want to repeat what has been said. You're an interesting character, and persistent, I'll give you that.

I don't know if you answered my question from last time, but have you had the missionaries come over and answer your questions? They will bring you a free Book of Mormon since yours is still in the mail somewhere. Also, I'm wondering why you are researching the church. I'm assuming it's not because you are thinking of joining, so is it just for knowledge? I'm not putting you down, since I've been to your site and it looks to be unbiased.

I have watched many documentres on the mormon religion and have came 2 the conclusion that the religion is not real....no offense meant 4 those who r mormon, but their is NO hard evidence that u'r religion is 1/2 way real.....their was a documentry on the History channel a few years ago about bombings in salt lake city,a big mormon city, and the Mormon CHURCH was behind it!! This is a "religion"? Um... sry NO! Thats y u will get NO REAL ANSWERS 2 u'r question!**

Does it really matter? Why do christians care so mych about mormons? There's 11billion people in the world, and only 14 million are mormon... the ratio is slightly infavor of non-mormons. "Save" the rest of them and leave the mormons alone. Africa is still hungery, Bosnia is still fighting, Mexico is still impoverish... Hating on mormons will get the world no where.

Meanwhile all my tithes go towards building churches, and feeding hungery people (mormon and non-mormon). We were even the first onsite at hurricane katrina. If you know us by our fruits, then you know us as good people.

study "under the Banner of Heaven: a narrative of Violent faith" via Jon Krakauer. He does a super interest of describing Mormonism in it rather is greater fanatical style(s), and it rather is history. it rather is independent the two way. He describes one traditionally supported adventure (letters, journals, diaries from the time) wherein Joseph Smith initially recruited believers via telling them they might all acquire prophecies from God/Moroni/whomever. yet while a number of their prophecies then contradicted his very own, he had yet another "prophecy" wherein he replaced into "advised" that no person else would have their very own prophecies any further and that in basic terms his very own counted, and that it replaced into incorrect for all and sundry yet him to acquire those prophecies from then on. i think of Mormonism is nuts, yet then so is Christianity most of the time, and many different religions.

The book of morman is not true and that's why the church can change it. Joseph Smith was not a prophet, the bible says if they are wrong once that's all the proof you need.
