How do you explain dinosaurs?
God buried them for a giggle?
They're older than 10000years which predates humans.

There's some desperate pseudo science going on but carbon dating dates them far further back. I was using 10000 years to predate man. If carbon dating is unaffected by lava don't you think a little water is not going to affect the results?
Ps I am a scientist.

god sure kept quiet on the fact that we were on a small planet in a MASSIVE solar system, which is an INSIGNIFICANT SPECK in our Galaxy, which is a GRAIN OF SAND ON THE BEACH that makes up the known universe - ever get the feeling you should stop flogging your rationale against a book that had Galileo excommunicated because he said the earth went around the sun and not the other way around.

Jesus Christ, if you believe any of this creationism or intelligent design nonsense you are seriously dumb bastards.

Please, you dumb creationist fools, tell me; why did your supposed God create all this superfluous massive universe when he was solely interested in us, the human race, as a species, and why is it so very, very big, when we were what it was all about? was he practicing?

First of all, The Bible does not support the views/ideas of those "creationist". This is because "creationists" believe that the universe and earth and all life on it were created in six 24-hour days some 10,000 years ago. This, however, is [not] what the Bible teaches. Hence, the Bible agrees with Science rather than Evolution. Also, "creationist" have embrace many doctrines that lack support in the Bible. Furthermore, in some lands the term "creationist" is synonymous with Fundamentalist groups that actively engage in pressuring others, to teachings that conform to the creationist's religious code. True Christians however should respect the right of others and so do not support the efforts of Fundamentist groups that try to establish civil laws that would force others to adobt thier views. (John18:36)

How do you explain dinosaurs?
The Bible does not provide specific answers to this question. According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or ‘days.’ If the Hebrew expression translated “great sea monsters” [Hebrew, tan·ni·nim´] includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth “day.” (Gen. 1:21) We do not know whether they continued to exist until man was created (toward the close of the sixth “day”). At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah’s day.
Dinosaurs were reptiles, and some kinds of dinosaurs bear strong resemblance structurally and otherwise to lizards (sauros is, in fact, the Greek word for “lizard”; saura in Leviticus 11:29, LXX). Not all types of dinosaurs were of such gigantic size. Hence, even if they had survived till the Flood, this would not have required taking pairs of the mammoth varieties into the ark. Other smaller members of the particular family or “kind” to which these belonged would have sufficed to fulfill the divine command.—Gen. 6:19, 20; 7:14.
Some of the older translations of the Bible at times use the word “dragons” to translate the Hebrew tan·ni·nim´ (“sea monsters,” NW). (Ps. 74:13; 148:7; Isa. 27:1, Authorized Version) The term “dragon” (Greek, dra´kon) is found in the Christian Greek Scriptures. It has been suggested as possible that, rather than having a purely mythical source, this expression may originally have been applied to enormous creatures such as the dinosaurs, taking on mythical tones only after these mammoth creatures had long disappeared. Interestingly, many of the mythical depictions of the “dragon” strongly resemble certain types within the family of huge reptilian creatures that includes the dinosaur.

Hindus do not appear to support creationism.
Hinduism has the concept of 'Avatars' or incarnations of God.

The 1st incarnation was Matsya (Fish). This corresponds to early life forms that lived only in water.
The 2nd was Kurma (Tortoise) This lived in the water but could come on land. It also had 4 limbs.
The 3rd was Varah (Boar). This was one of the earliest land animals.
The 4th was Narasimha (Half-man-half-lion). This was the early man who was still wild as the lion.
The 5th was Vamana (Dwarf). This was the early man who was better than the beast.
The 6th was Parsuram (Man with axe). This was the early man able to use a simple tool.
The 7th was Rama (Man with bow and arrows). This was the hunter gatherer man.
The 8th was Balaram (Man with a plough). Now man had learnt to grow crops to feed his family.
The 9th was Krishna (Modern Man) With the increase in the population wars ensued and Krishna guided the righteous to victory.
The 10th will be Kali (The bionic-robotic-man, yet to evolve). This is the final incarnation.

Does this not seem like Darwin's 'Theory of Evolution' applied to man.
Yet the scriptures were written many many years before Mr Darwin proposed his theory.
The Christian Church opposed it till it was gradually accepted by the scientific community.

'gloriashealth' the Bible is one of the best books but only for the guidance of the wise and not for the blind obedience of fools.

Dinosaurs were on the earth before the flood of Noah's day. The earth changed to much after the flood, that they could not survive. As for the age thing...Carbon 14 is the way many things are dated. The theory is that all living things have a certain level of this; after the animal dies and quits eating, the decay of this substance can be used to know how long ago it lived. Carbon 14 is formed by the action of cosmic radiation upon Nitrogen atoms. Genesis indicates that the earth was surrounded by a "canopy" of water prior to the flood. Water blocks high energy radiation, so the Carbon 14 level was very low prior to the flood. This fact throws off dating methods by millions of years.

You are going on the premis I suppose that the 7 days that God created the Earth in was actually 24hour days, or was it 12 hour days, which one we don't know. Actually to God, in the Bible it says a day is as like a thousand years. We don't really know the particulars, and not knowing this we don't know the true time span. So going by creation, we can only estimate the age of the Earth. By the way, scientists are finding more and more Biblical facts true. Infact a satellite in1992 called the Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) collected data that proved the universe began with a single suden explosion of pure energy.

I get so mad when I hear scientist etc say that dinosaurs are millions of years old, The earth is approx 42 thousand years old (Min) Man is only 6000 years old we know that from what the bible tells us. ALL life on earth is no older than that. The dinosaurs were put on the earth to chew down the abnormally large vegetation don't forget there was a thick cloud belt around the earth at that time so the heat and humidity would have encouraged the plants and vegetation to grow exceptionally large. When there job was done God merely destroyed them. All this rubbish about millions of years old. Why doesn't man use his brain and read what God himself has wrote. They are not mentioned in the bible because they are insignificant. He has only written what directly affects us today.

I don't explain dinosaurs. The Bible does explain them however, it tells us that God made them. God buried them using a worldwide flood. Consider this, flesh and bones that are not covered by dirt and sediment very quickly rot or the flesh is eaten by carrion. The dinosaurs bones are in tact. If the sediment had been laid down over millions of years the bones of the dinosaur could not have been preserved because of the above problems. Yet all over the world, we find dinosaurs. Also, dinosaurs are just as old as man. It is just that our dating methods are not accurate.

Very good question. Creationists are nutters who do more harm to the cause of those who believe in a creator than evolutionists. Nowhere in the Bible does it claim that the Earth is only a few thousand years old.

If creationism is true how do you explain god? Or rather, what created god? Creationism is a cop out that merely passes the argument onto a creator being but does nothing to simplify the mystery of "order." which is the founding principle of this whole creationism bit.

Why has creationism become an issue recently? You can't place the writings in one book against the whole of scientific research and make any sort of sensible comparison. I can't understand why otherwise educated people can even begin to want to debate this.
