Custard has an egg base. Ice cream does not contain eggs.

i have never heard of the flour. but it has to do with the ration of cream in the base and the amount of air whipped into it. Custards have less air and all cream. ice cream is actually a blend of cream and milk. I like 1/2 and 1/2 and has more air, or over run, whipped in.

Ice cream has to have at least 9% butterfat to be called ice cream.. If you need a recipe for ice cream, that means you need a machine. There are recipes included in the box.

I don't have recipies, but...

Custard is much thicker, much richer and much higher in calories than ice cream. It must be churned at a high rate of speed or it will turn into butter. It contains much more cream and butter fat...which both makes it taste better and MUCH worse for you, health wise. :-)
