How low standards do you have to be to claim you won a war by simply not dieing? Isreal reduced nearly the entire country to dust and rubble. Killed hundreds of terrorists and they claim victory for simply not dieing. Its like a joke being so deseperate to fight a war you started then claim you won when you didn't. Are they the special ed class of the world or what?

With all due respect "wicca" which for the record isn't a name its a religion and deserves a bit more respect than to be used for a handle. As for me not being educated, i assure you im far more educated on this topic and area of the world thank you are, seeing as though i am currently on my second combat tour over here in a three year period. I've spent over 2 years of the last 3 here in the middle east working with muslims and christians and the many other religions that are over here. Yes i am aware of how many CHILDREN were killed in that war, i know why to. Because Hezbollah stands behind them protect themselves. Please educate yourself of whom you are speaking to before you begin shooting off condesenting things. How many terrorists have you fought? How many middle east citizens have you had request your help so they can not be scared of a car bomb going off at the house because they forgot to wear a veil today? Not to many i'd bet..another liberal rambling about the unknown.....

I'm not going off propaganda im going off of experience fighting these slimballs. They are all cowards. And the lebanoness are just as guilty for not getting rid of them in the first place. As for Iran taking on American ANYTIME, you are ready feel free, i woudln't mind walking down the streets of the once proud Tehran. You think isreal is mean give us a reason to come over there.

It's the big lie, but instead of the Nazi propaganda machine, it's AP, UPI, CBS, NBC, et al. coming down squarely on the side of the Islamofacists. So far Hezbollah has the right to claim victory because Israel wanted to free the detainees with out any condition which was refused. Israel went on full scale war, demolished Lebanon infrastructure and killed a lot of innocent people. Finally, Israel agreed to stop the war and it is talking about negotiations to free the two detainees on exchange of Lebanese who were detained prior this war. Moreover, many Israels were killed during this war where it should have not happened if Israel agreed from the begging to exchange detainees. In brief, with the capability of Israel which was supported by USA the super power failed to achieve its goals with rebels such as Hezbollah in freeing the 2 soldiers and now it is talking about negotiations on exchange which it refused before. These reasons among others are the causes of Hezbollah victory!

Hezbollah is accurately claiming victory. Please read Sun-Tzu "The Art of War" so that you can understand what has happened here.
Superior firepower, nor greater destruction, ensures victory.
Chapter 4: "15. Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory. "
Israel always 'looks for victory' and has run its course through military might alone. From now on, it will have to negotiate with its neighbors. I hope its leaders realize this instead of beating many heads against the wall and making no progress.

you say your educated about this topic?...unless you were physically standing behind a Hezbollah, standing behind a child...you have no idea if that's what they were doing....Ever heard of propaganda?...think your immune to it just cause your over there?...honestly now...knowing what you should know about the muslim culture with your own eyes...wouldn't you say they value family above all else...think 85% of the Lebanese would be supporting Hezbollah if they really thought they were using children as shields? They will fight to the death and they want to die because to die a martyrs death is the 70 virgins thing. They clean up and shower and take lotion Was in there back pack to met the virgins. They really believe this. so can you understand the frustration of living next door to these people. The day Israel stopped they sent of 250 rockets into Israel. They didn't want it to stop.
Since Israel has nuclear weapons why not drop one in the middle of the country like USA did in Japan. Give them what they want a trip to paradise.

well because Israel didn't finsh the job they started!!!! they didn't destroy Hezbollah like they said they were going to so typically in a war, the smaller side thinks they have fun when they hold off the more powerful side
