Look on the lower left side of your CD drive. It should be about equidistant from edge to the little flat green LED.

Usually somewhere on the front of the CD drive. Is only big enough to insert the end of a pin or paperclip. If you have a plastic flaceplate over the front of the CD drive, you may have to remove it to see the hole. Usually under the door.

On the front of the CD Drive itself there is a hole about the size of the wire used in a small paperclip. If you straighten out a paperclip and push it into the hole, it manually releases the tray and it should come out.
If not, you may have spilled something on the tray to glue it in place...you could also have a failed drive.
I have had to disassemble CD drives to recover CDs.

It should be in the front face of you burner, somewhere under the tray. Try a paper click, it pushes the gear that engages opening.
If not, you don't have it.
So, try that trick: disconnect the cable behind the burner (the large one, not the power supply), restart you computer and press the button to open it....it might work.
Else....you may have to change it.
