~Profiling is ingrained and conditioned into our brains~ Profiling is a FACT, happens all the time, because we are all Profiled and fit into groups, Islamic Profiling should be equal to any other racist profiling.

Islamic profiling is at the top of the list in that case. But then, all a fanatic would have to do is "disguise" himself like a "regular Joe" (i.e. no beard, and probably carrying a copy of some work by Rushdie instead of the Koran) and he'd go right through. There is no easy answer here.

But, if the ultimate goal here is airline safety, the quickest and best way is to issue every passenger...even little children...a good, sharp boxcutter.
