Great boxing question and an electric fight between two very hard punchers. Eder Jofre at 72-2-4 50 ko's was a great champ and so was Wilfredo Gomez. Jofre had knockout power in either hand and so did Wilfredo Gomez. Jofre was also a very slick boxer with an iron jaw. Gomez with a record of 44-3-1 42 ko's would make a very formidable opponent for the legendary Jofre, This fight would be about the most action packed bout you could imagine and a fight of wills with both men landing hard punches. I believe that Jofre would win by TKO in 12 rounds of a very thrilling fight between two great gladiators.

Jofre - W 72 (KO's 50) TF 78 - W pct 92% - KO pct 64% - wins over V. Salvador, Legra and Espinosa - KO'ed by none - #85 ranked puncher - #19 ranked fighter

Gomez - W 44 (KO's 42) TF 48 - W pct 92% - KO pct 88% - wins over Zarate, Cervantes, Cruz and Pintor - KO'ed by Sanchez - #13 ranked puncher - #54 ranked fighter (should be ranked much higher)

Jofre was never KO'ed however in this fight he would get busted up real bad and his corner would throw in the towel or he would lose a 15 rd decision and look like he had been in a fight.

Wilfredo was virtually indestructible, well at junior featherweight anyway. A close battle of two very classy boxers, destructive punchers it will come down to heart and Wilfredo was very brave. It would be a close contest or a brutal knockout similar to Zale and Graziano. They both wouldn't have lasted the fall out. Could Wilfredo make the weight.

i'm Joshua Mbngo Dmbungo TONGUE-click Jnr. Jnr. Eder became greater useful at bantam, and Wilfredo at great bantam. the version between the two is that Eder does not have that one situation. least confusing question interior the worldwide: What became Gomez' suitable characteristic? ability. At featherweight his ability wasn't extremely so fully devastating because it became decrease down. whilst it became nullified against Sanchez he became picked aside. frustrating question: What became Jofre's suitable characteristic? properly, er...he could do all of it. no longer with extremely a similar incredible result as he could at bantam became he wasn't defeated so no concerns there. i think of the early rounds are close, with Jofre exhibiting a good number of admire, yet via fact the rounds flow by utilising he takes greater beneficial administration and it turns right into a guy v boy project via fact the clever grasp boxer bins brilliantly to a UD. TONGUE-click!

Wilfred Gomez for the win. By decision, at least. Too hard to knock out Jofre, I think. And too hard a fight to bet on!!!!!
